A Pub in your Living Room (SBS)

THIS ONE IS IN DUTCH – Stef Boonstoppel has been living in Australia for 7 years. Sometimes he misses the typical “gezelligheid” of a Dutch pub. Especially now, during the European Championship Soccer. Or as the Dutch call it by it’s proper name… Football! Only an idiot calls a sport where you are allowed to touch the ball with your hands football… But I digress. So, what do you do if you have a hunkering for watching soccer with some other Dutch people? You build a pub in your living room and then use Facebook to invite people to come watch the tournament with you. Because of the time difference you will have to get up EARLY to catch the 5 AM games. But Stef has the beer, the frikandellen and the bitterballen ready for you! This one aired on SBS on the 19th of June 2021.
